Credit Card Questions

i had lost my job few years back and they said my last payment was pending. They had called me and said that they had sent many letters to me which i never received. Then i asked them for the another one but they refused. They charged me so much for my credit card. I had no income at present. My husband doesn't live with me. Should i file bankruptcy against that credit card company? I want to know whether they will ask my husband or not? I paid for it regularly each month after i lost my job. but i can't pay it whole.

Hey, no need to file bankruptcy against them. This is the old debt you can't pay. I thought you may past it to 'statute of limitations by state'. They will tell you about how long your debt is collectible. After more than 5 yrs, it will not shown on your credit report and hence there is need for repayment. Be careful about your debt. In such situation of can't pay off the debt, simply ignore them. You can also contact a financial expert for your help. With best wishes!

I thought you both are liable for the credit card. I advice you not to pay them anything until you can get a written approach. Only pay the amount of approach in written.

As i know in most of the community property states, you both have to share the debts regarding it is in who's name. You call to supervisor or to the corporate office of the credit card company, they should help you. Best wishes for your future.

I and My partner are both overseas students in Usa., we both have a education visa credit card of U.S. bank. We had started using it and we have a good credit history. Now, i had received an offer from U.S. bank for the Visa Platinum Credit Card of thy bank. Is this a good opportunity for us or we should go with the credit card we already have? Will it be good for making a good credit history?

I thought two or three active credit cards must be enough for making a good credit history. If you are sincere with all the credit payments done each month, Then you don't have to worry about the interest rates and late fees payment. I advice you not to open a line of credit everywhere after getting ads.

If this platinum credit card assure you to never exceed the thirty percent of your credit limit for any given month, then i thought it will be good to go with the platinum credit card.

The platinum credit card also comes with the benefits with Chase Platinum Visa Credit Card. It allows its members to chase reward programs. In these programs, you can earn one point for each dollar spent by you. These points are exchange for gift cards, discount for travel, merchandising or cash back. You must take card that the reward points are not earning on fees for the products which protect the balance of your credit card account. If you are making your trip through a travel agency, then you have to pay approx. $15 of mileage redemption fee.

What kind of unsecured credit card can i got for the credit score of average 600? Is my credit rating sufficient for it?

At first, your credit score will depend upon from where you got it. Your's is a low credit score, so you can apply only for the card with an annual fee or high interest rates. You must try to increase your score first by making small purchases and pay them off monthly. Capital one may accept your application, but be sure not to go over limit. After establishing a good credit score go with the better ones. If you are a student then bank will offer you college or university students credit card for no credit history with low interest rates. It will be much better for u. If being an employee go with the credit union credit card or for an open-bond credit union.

Go online and you will get a list of credit cards available with low interest and rewards etc. For low credit score, you must apply for the secured credit card not for the unsecured one. You can get orchard bank secured credit card. It will be better for you.
