How to get a lower APR?

I have my first visa credit card. I had taken the plan to pay off in full and has high APR which i had to pay at once only but not monthly. Is it possible for me to ask the company for a lower APR so that my pay off would be cheaper? or i should go with transfer my balance?

I suggest you to your credit card by the due date. Else you have to pay for late fess with more interest. You can't get lower APR unless you had a good credit score with good credit history. These credit companies believe to get more money back better than none. So, Be sure about your payments in time.

As you pay off your bills in full then i think APR doesn't matter. You have to pay interest only on the payment you owe. You must go with the card that provides you stuff not with the one which charges no money and also ask them for sending the dividends that has been built up by you. I suggest you not to close this credit card account and transfer your balance to the other one it will affect your credit limit. And if you don't want to keep this card anymore then just cut your credit card and leave your account open.

The company will not allow you cheaper APR if you have large balance in your account. You can also try another card with low APR after transferring your balance. There are also some credit cards that offer zero or very low APR only for those who transfer balance to their accounts. Afetr the free trial period, you can balance transfer to another credit card with zero APR. Hope it will help you.
