Credit Report

Q: I had my credit report from credit bureau. But i thought it's a wrong report in my name as it doesn't show my credit details but of someone else. How do i clear my doubts about my free credit report?

A: If you had gone with the 3-in 1 credit report then firstly compare all the reports from Experian, Transunion and Equifax and see whether all the fields are correct or not like name, address etc. If there is any incorrection then tell this about anyone of the three credit bureaus and it will contact with the other two. Make a security alert on your free credit report. The credit bureau company must correct the report within 30 days and they will dispatch  a new credit report to you. You can also get the annual credit report for free once in a year. You should be extra careful while managing business credit reports.
